욥 김태형입니다. 제가 처음으로 커버곡을 공개하게 되었네요.
어떤곡을 하면 좋을까 해서 저번에 트윗으로 노래추천을 받았었는데 어떤 아미분이 ‘Someone Like You’ 노래를 추천해주셨어요. 이 곡을 듣고 내가 하고 싶은 스타일로 바꿔보면 어떨까 해서 한번 해봤습니다~
스포인데스포아닌스포같은 스포를 저번에 트윗으로 했었고 카페에서도 정국이만 할수 없다고 글도 쓰고 그랬었는데 다들 눈치 못 챘었죠 하하하
제가 커버곡을 공개하게 된이유는 작년에 아미들이랑 함께 했던 첫번쩨 생일도 그렇고 이번 년도에도 저에게 보내주는 축하들을 보면서 저는 받기만 하니 너무 미안해서 제가 아미들한테 선물을 주고싶었습니다. 좋은 날이니까 저도 아미들에게 선물 주고 저도 아미들에게 축하를 받고~
팝송이라 좀 힘들었지만 그래도 제가 추고하는 감성 보컬 쪽 느낌이 나서 들려 드리고 싶었습니다~ 사실 정국이의 sofa도 따로 녹음했었는데 겹치면 안될꺼같아서 ‘Someone Like You’로 결정하게 됬어요. 그리고 이왕 주는 선물인데 곡 하나만 하기엔 좀 그러니 뮤비처럼 영상이 나오면 좀 멋지지 않을까 싶어 제가 직접 태감독이 되어 연출과 카메라 동선을 한번 짜봤습니다~ 장소도 집근처에 있는 골목을 직접 섭외해서 굉장히 빠른… 16분 만에 초스피드속도로 촬영을 끝내고 숙소로 돌아왔습니다 춥거든요.. 여튼 부족해도 애 돌본다 생각하고 지켜봐주시고 사랑해주세요 쪽

Yo, this is Kim Taehyung. I am releasing a cover song for the first time.
I was thinking about what song would be good and so last time I got some suggestions from tweets and got suggested to do the song ‘Someone Like You’ by an A.R.M.Y. I listened to this song and thought what would it be like to change it into the style I want and sing it, so I gave it a go~
I gave a little not-so-spoiler-like-spoiler spoiler in the last tweet and in the fancafe I wrote a note that Jungkook can’t be the only one to do covers but no one realised hahaha.
The reason why I revealed this cover song is that even last year for my first birthday I spent it with A.R.M.Ys and even this year from looking at all the congratulations, I felt sorry that I am only receiving, so I wanted to give a present to our A.R.M.Ys. Since it’s a good day I give a present to A.R.M.Ys and get congratulated by A.R.M.Ys~
It was kind of hard since it was a pop song but I wanted to let you hear the sensitive vocal feeling that I was after~ To be honest I actually recorded another version of Jungkook’s sofa but I felt like we shouldn’t clash so I decided on ‘Someone Like You’. And on top of giving you this gift I thought it wouldn’t be enough to just release one song and I thought wouldn’t it be cool if there were to be a MV so I myself became Tae-Director and planned the camera angles and appearances~ And for the location we hired the alleyway near our dorm and really fast.. within 16 minutes we finished the shooting and returned to the dorm, it was cold.. Anyway even though it’s lacking just think of it as watching a baby’s 1st birthday event and watch over it and give us love. Kiss.
